A basic but very interesting Geiger counter from Russia that seems to have been constructed on to a rechargeable flashlight. This would have been plugged into an electrical outlet to power and recharge the batteries. The circuit is simple with a HV PSU delivering around 400V and a logic circuit that appears to act as a binary counter, of sorts. The Geiger–Müller tube is a tiny SBM-10 which is roughly 6.5x less sensitive than a SBM-20 tube. Click for more information |

An inexpensive, very basic, bare bones Geiger counter. This unit does not have a display and thus does not count, so is effectively not an actual counter. It does have an LED and sounder from which clicks can be heard. This unit usually comes with either a J305 or a M4011 Geiger–Müller tube. Click for more information |
